UKG Scoops Top Prize for South East, in National Awards

UKG Lifeskills, part of UKG Lifestyle has been crowned category Winner for the South East in the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards.

The company is now on its way to the UK Finals, taking place in London on 23 May.

Interview with Directors, Natasha Waldron and Rene Follert, after receiving the Award:

The Awards recognise the best small businesses across the UK, from every sector and industry and shine a light on some of the best, most innovative and most determined small businesses.  UKG impressed the judges with its impressive growth from initial 'start-up' in 2015, to launching Lifeskills, its training academy in 2018, with plans for continued growth over the next 12 months and beyond.

Natasha Waldron, UKG founder and Managing Director, commented "I am simply overwhelmed!  Winning this award means a huge amount to us and is a tremendous boost to our business and to our wonderful staff.  Our aim has always been to provide outstanding services, delivered by great people, to achieve excellent results for our clients.  This award is recognition of the efforts of the whole team and to be a contender in the UK Finals, is something we are extremely proud to have achieved."

Tim Lacey, Academy Manager, commented "This is fantastic news for us, as a business, we are focussed on quality and delivering an outstanding learning experience.  The Academy was formed out of the need to train our own staff within our group companies, UKG Care and UKG Cleaning - so we fully appreciate the issues for businesses around staff training.  As a result, we have developed a delivery model that is manageable for organisations to implement."
